As the state affiliate, Keep Nebraska Beautiful remains an independent nonprofit which coordinates Keep America Beautiful events in the State of Nebraska, such as the Great American Cleanup, America Recycles Day, Recycle Bowl, and National Planting Day. Over the years, 22 local affiliates throughout the state have joined Keep Nebraska Beautiful as Keep America Beautiful affiliates. These affiliates are educational and community-improvement programs that address local needs such as litter awareness, litter cleanups, beatification, reuse and recycling programs, and neighborhood revitalization.
