Nebraska Litter Hotline
Keep Nebraska Beautiful is proud to partner with the Douglas, Lancaster, Gage, Colfax, and Dodge County Sheriffs' Offices to offer a Litter Hotline to report persons observed littering in those counties. We are encouraging motorists who spot a littering violation along any street, road or highway to call 877-NO LITTR (877-665-4887), or complete the form below. All types of trash and all types of vehicles are subject to be reported, whether a cigarette butt or whether thrown from a commercial vehicle, as long as the license plate number is provided. Reporters will remain anonymous.
Keep Nebraska Beautiful hopes to expand the Litter Hotline to all other counties in the states. The pilot program, however, includes reporting littering incidents only in Douglas, Lancaster, Gage, Colfax and Dodge Counties in Nebraska.
Not only will a reduction in roadside litter improve the enjoyment of residents and visitors who travel our highways, but it's a great preservation of our natural environment and will save taxpayer money being spent on cleaning up the discarded trash of careless motorists.
