Litter-Free School Zone is Now CleanGreenZoNE
Welcome to CleanGreenZoNE, a program by Keep Nebraska Beautiful! Building upon the success of our Litter-Free School Zones program, CleanGreenZoNE expands participation to all youth-led groups in Nebraska. KNB provides the tools and resources necessary for youth groups to organize litter cleanups, launch recycling campaigns, and have fun while making a difference.
Goals:
- Boost Recycling: Encourage the adoption of the “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot (compost)” principles to minimize waste sent to landfills.
- Environmental Education: Foster environmental awareness through educational programs and resources.
- Community Cleanups: Provide resources and support for youth-led cleanups in communities across Nebraska.
- Youth Empowerment: Equip young people with the skills and knowledge to become environmental leaders.
- Promote Engagement: Create a fun and engaging program that inspires youth to take action for a cleaner Nebraska.
Ready to Sign Up?
To get started, please fill out and submit the agreement on this page. Keep Nebraska Beautiful requests that you complete at least two cleanups per year and provide details of your events on a quarterly report card. Don’t worry, we’ll send you a reminder!
